Any Dallas fans out there? Victoria Principal was so popular in the early 80’s! Truth time: I was in fourth grade in 1984. In my library, women in their late 20’s and 30-somethings (I’m 35) are the typical demographic to check out materials on health and beauty. I’m willing to bet that the majority of women my age, who are looking for these kinds of books, don’t have a clue who Victoria Principal is. They also don’t care who she is. They want beauty tips from America’s Next Top Models or the trainers from The Biggest Loser.
Mary’s Turn: I remember this being the beauty standard. I really miss big hair and perms. BTW, She has held up rather well over time given my latest google search. Maybe this book is the answer!

No, no, no! I have to argue against weeding this title because of your glaring “Anti-Victoria Principal” bias! This book serves a particular demographic and by removing it you are impeding their ability to get important information! What demographic? What information? I’m talking about that group of folks committed to maintaining a classic American lifestyle, one devoted to Clear Channel classic rock stations, camaro driving and power suits. Next thing you’ll be removing is Jane Fonda’s Workout Book! Sheesh!

I could remember that my aunt used to collect beauty book. Hope she had this Victoria Principal books, like to read the tips in it.
